Even the Democrats, all of them on this House Oversight Committee, supported the subpoenas when they were issued months ago, which is kind of weird, but they did. I think probably the idea was, well, we don't want it to look like we're just going after Trump. We're going to go after Clinton, too. You know, Bill's probably fine. So the subpoenas go out, and Bill and Hillary, you know, last week or so, say, no, you know, we've already provided something in writing. We don't have to show up and be deposed. And so now, this committee today has just voted to find them in contempt of Congress. |
