uh patrick butler and uh rick rufford two former high fire officials with the los angeles fire department

who uh had left to the department department before the Palisades fire.

And Patrick Butler was their 31 years.

He made it to Assistant Fire Chief.

And he wrote the book on how to handle large-scale fire disasters.

And he said, L.A. Fire Department under Karen Bass and Kristen Crowley, they didn't follow any of the procedures.

It literally seemed everything was done wrong in all aspects of the fire, well, preparation and the coverage.

They said this never, this was entirely preventable.

And now he runs the Redondo Beach Fire Department.

He's the chief.

Also, Rick Crawford, who's now involved in at the U.S. Capitol handling large-scale security

and evacuation programs there.

And they spoke quite eloquently and correctly.

And you got to listen to all the clips we played from their testimony in Washington, D.C.

at a Senate hearing that was put on by a Florida senator and a Wisconsin senator,

not any California senators involved for some reason.
