Can you talk about your decision to show your hands at the very beginning?

It's a very conscious decision and it's your hands.

It's my diary in a lot of ways.

So I thought like starting it in the most personal way

would be great.

And my favorite thing is erasing

you know the misspelling of Francis McDormand's name because it immediately says personal.

And even though you don't know if it's my hand, you know that it's someone's hand. You know that it's personal penmanship.

It's not somebody came in with a font. It's like there it is. It's being written in front of you.
