There was one that I had a real internal debate on during the show.

There was a sign in the front row that was being held by an Asian male.

And it's holding up a very simple sign and said said I'm Asian. I was thinking to myself I was

like I really want to say that's offensive but it's not like it's an Asian

college you know holding up a, it's I'm Asian.

So we ended up taking it.

The kid loved it.

The next week, wherever we go,

another Asian person, front row row I'm also Asian we show that two weeks later we're

somewhere there's a white kid in the front row with a sign that says I'm Caucasian.

Several years ago a friend asked me to autograph a copy of those guys have all the fun for his

grandmother who he said was still a doting fan of

ESPN at the age of 81.

When I asked him how much time she spent watching the network, he said,

actually she only watches college game day on Saturday mornings.

Turns out Granny rarely even hung around to watch the games themselves.

She preferred seeing the various college campuses, the crazy signs,

the interactions between the game day regulars,

and all the other attendant hoopla.

Note to programming file.

If you've got a sports show that's watched by people who don't care much about sports,

you've got a real winner on your hands.
