I began the weekly prison pulpit series, I believe it was last October, to remind all of

us regularly to pray for persecuted pastors and believers, such as Pastor Wang Yi in China

from early reign church in Chengdu, China,

as Hebrews 133 tells us to do, to pray for them as if we were bound with them. As bound with

them is what the text says. I do this by sharing from their own published writings in China, his,

for example, as well as others, such as Pastor Richard Wernbrand, who lived and died and

suffered many years in Communist Romania. He's now with Jesus, but he left a lot of writing

about being in prison as well. There's a lot we can learn from him about how to pray, how to think,

and how to prepare ourselves for potential persecution someday. So today, what I want to do is something

kind of special. CS Lewis is on my mind a little bit because I know Grace Agenda in Moscow,

Idaho is happening this week. And I've been there two or three times out of the last three or four

years. And I enjoy the conference. I enjoy the all the things that go on there, the block party and stuff that happens there, all the food and the fellowship. I enjoy that a lot, so I wish I could be there. It can't be there this year. I had a table last year. I was giving away books talking about China with many people. And so since I can't be there, I'm trying to do something to kind of fit in a little bit
