We are about nine days away, just under nine days away from the NBA trade deadline.

Of course, seen some Jimmy Butler activity, not with the NICS. That's not something they're going to be approaching, which is for the best.

With that said, focus on what the Nix can do, what they might do, what they may not do, and kind of go from there.

Not a whole lot of new information regarding the NICs, but there was one thing that came out today.

I thought worth at least talking about as our one big thing.

That was from Michael Scato of Hoops Hype.

And it was a small detail, but it was essentially saying that the Knicks were one of a handful of teams to have checked in with the Raptors about Chris Boucher.

Now, Chris Boucher, 32-year-old big man, he's having a nice shooting season.

Typically hasn't quite been that great from Beyond the Ark, but he's doing a solid job there this year.

The rebounding is usually pretty strong.

He's done nicely there too.

If you look at some of the defensive metrics, they're fine.

There's some room for improvement.

But the rim protection is something he does at a pretty decent level.
