The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Team Trials kick off on June 15th as the best

athletes in the country seek to make the toughest team in the world ahead of the

Paris Games later this summer on NBC and Peac the full trials go from the 15 to the 30th and if we were talking about this during the break it is amazing to think that

for a lot of these athletes the dream the a lot of these athletes. The dreams the Olympics is not even in there in the Olympics yet. They're not there.

You got it you got to get there. You got to get there and you may have presumed and we all presume you're going to be there you have

a bad day at the worst possible time and you're not on the team.

That's right I know it is it is crazy to think you know that we're this close to the Olympics you kind of you know that we're this close you know to the Olympics you

you kind of you know you forget that the team's not set and that they still got to

earn it and we do every year right every time every four years we see you know one or

two people left behind that we go or

told is a world favorite and they don't get out of the the country so yeah

definitely have my eye on that a little bit this week.

It's amazing to think of how the Olympics are almost upon us and how they just kind of take over everything for two weeks.

And I don't mean this in a disrespectful way.

It's just funny to me that sports we pay no attention to at all become the centerpiece of everything we're

paying attention to for those two weeks. The other three years and 50 weeks

of the right calendar we don't care about it. But you put you put

national pride and gold medals on the line and some history we're all in right we're

all in right yeah there's some some history back to our basic competing premises of like you know early man. I'm faster than you. I'm stronger than you. I can jump higher than you, I can swim faster than you and you know we can

get a we can get behind that right every four years definitely and I think they add that

with the country pride and all that it is it is cool and there's just things

where there's certain titles that are amazing to tune into like to be able to go wait I'm going to watch the race to see who the fastest human in the world is right now.
