ChatGPT is turning two, and it has a remarkable vocabulary for a toddler.

It's been two years as of tomorrow since OpenAI's artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT took the world by storm with its wordsmithing.

So how has it changed the tech industry and what's next for the company?

Marketplace TechBites week in review. Plus, we look into rumblings that improvements in AI have slowed,

raising questions about whether we've hit a wall when it comes to training more advanced AI systems.

First, though, the Commerce Department finalized nearly $7.9 billion in subsidies

for Intel. It's the largest award yet under the Chips and Science Act, and it's a game-changing

sum for the company right now, according to Natasha Masqueranus, reporter at the information.

It's a massive deal for Intel.

And if I was Intel right now, I would be very happy that it is all finalized before

the new administration comes in.

Intel has had its own share of struggles, you know, including just the fact that

it's semiconductor, its ship's business is losing money for years.

Its stock price is down about 51% near to date. And so I think seeing them get the largest,

I believe, government subsidy for a domestic chip maker is great news. And yeah, I mean,

while it's a little less than what was originally promised, it also comes after the chip company won around $3 billion from the Pentagon.

So a lot of money going towards Intel and good timing nonetheless.

Well, as you noted, there's kind of the business side of this.

And then there is the political side.
