But first, a look at AI-related site outages at Amazon. This week, the Financial Times reported that Amazon

engineers were meeting to discuss recent outages of the website, including those related to its

use of AI. There weren't specifics on exactly which outages were being discussed, but this

does come after Amazon's online store was unavailable for thousands of customers for a few hours

AI use. It definitely brings light to the perspective that some of these AI tools and coding tools that

many of the teams are using perhaps need stronger guard rails and more controls.

And maybe the current ways in which that they are checking code bases and making sure that

things don't propagate in incorrect ways aren't sufficient for some of these coding tools.

So certainly it requires a deeper look, and it sounds like internally at Amazon, they are taking
