Welcome into the lounge presented by Draft Kings. I'm Ryan Mink here with Garrett Downing,

0:08.5

and the Ravens are on their by, which means we are going to do a self-scout, just like the coaches.

This is our Ravens' byweek evaluation. Obviously, sitting at one in five, the Ravens have a number of things to work on

0:22.9

this week. So we're going to run through that as well as relay some of the messages that we heard

0:28.3

coaches talking about. We heard from offensive coordinator, Todd Monkin, defensive coordinator,

0:33.5

Zach, or as well as several position coaches. We heard from secondary coach Chuck Pagano,

0:38.6

quarterback's coach T. Martin, pass rush coach Chuck Smith, offensive line coach, George Warhop.

0:46.2

Am I missing anybody? Got them all. Got them all. I heard from a lot of coaches. So, Garrett,

0:51.8

in terms of things for the Ravens to work on over the buy, kind of what's number one priority in your book?

0:59.0

Well, I'll go with what John Harbaugh said in talking about the offense.

1:02.8

And he made the point that the short-yardage situations is probably at the top of that list.

1:09.2

And the Ravens just haven't been good enough this year in third and short, fourth and short,

1:15.3

goal-to-go situations.

1:17.1

And obviously, the drive at the end of the half against the Rams,

1:21.2

where you have three shots inside the one yard line,

1:23.2

I couldn't punch it in, really kind of put the explanation point on that whole conversation

1:27.8

and made it top of mind. So I think that that's an area where the Ravens offensively really need

1:32.7

to focus in and drill down. And as part of that, and this is a little bit bigger picture on the

1:39.9

offense, like Todd Monkin made the point, like the offense needs to get its mojo back. And a way

1:43.7

you can get your mojo back is when you're at the one yard line, punch it in. Like, that helps the mojo factor. And so I think that that's definitely something that this offense, they just have to be better at it because there's been too many critical situations for this team throughout the season where a game could turn in another direction. And the Rams game is a perfect example of that. What happens if the Ravens score right before half? We'll never know, but I think that the Ravens may come out with a win in that game. Who knows? But like, and there's other situations all throughout the season where they've been in those spots and haven't been able to convert. and it's hurt them. And that's part of the reason they're one and five.

2:19.2

So I took the deep dive into these short yard situations, and I kind of call them clutch short yard

2:25.3

snaps. That's goal line. So it's goal to go from the two yard liner in, third and two or below,
