electoral victory by Boris Johnson and the Conservatives and a crushing defeat for Jeremy

Corbin and the Labour Party. Despite nine years of Tory rule and the parliamentary chaos of the past

three years, Labour couldn't even land the feeblest of punches on Boris Johnson. It was also a brutal

night for the Lib Dems, but an excellent one for the Scottish nationalists. I'll have

analysis on how the Conservatives demolished the red wall in the Leave Voting North and Midlands.

And I'll assess the mood in Brussels on what Boris Johnson's landslide win means for the next stage

of Brexit, why next year will be dominated by the trade negotiations and what a border down the Irish sea might look like.

Well first to you, Sean, how did we get to where we are with this overwhelming Tory majority and this sinking through the floor of the Labour Party vote?

There seems to be some division as to which was the greater factor, Brexit or the personality of the Labour leader?

Well, I was about to say there's two words, Brexit and Corbyn.

Brexit was a huge issue in this campaign.
