All right, welcome to is that something you might be interested in Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year's

edition. Heading into the New Year strong. Who knows what the world will bring? Obviously,

this Netflix Warner Brothers or Netflix Paramount deal is a huge deal. And I don't know. I don't know what the future of the industry is.

I think it's really wild to see. I just was in Hawaii with a bunch of 30-year-old athletes.

And none of them honestly know anything about movies. Like certainly pre-2010. It doesn't exist

and anything new if there is anything good that's new which there

isn't you know it's such a sad time right now it's always like december was in all all the

academy screeners were coming and everyone was calling can i borrow could you pass it around and

it just doesn't seem like as far as i'm concerned there's any's any movies that are there to get that excited

about? And, you know, over the last week, I watched, you know, my, the Rob Reiner great movies.

And I just wanted to re-familiarize myself with those movies that had such an impact on my life

and so many others, because if you

are, I would say, 47 to 60 approximately, those movies were a huge part of your life. And what I think

is most amazing, Rob Reiner's never been looked at as like, oh, this is one of the top directors, Scorsese, Quentin, et cetera. But, you know, he made, I think it's seven or eight, just absolute all-time classics that, hopefully will last. But when I talk to these kids, they don't know anything about them. They've never seen them. And, you know, for me, when you make a movie, which was always important to me, and hopefully I did it a little bit on Entourage, but got quotes that would last, you know, lines that people would remember, you know, because that's what we used to do when we were kids. We would quote our favorite movies over and over and over and, you know, spinal tap is certainly one of those. And, um, you know,

Rob made so many great movies during this eight year stretch. And I have to wonder, you know,

because right when, when this happened, this horrible tragedy where his son, you know, killed both his parents.

You know, your first thing is what could possibly happen.

And I think most people are waking up to the reality of mental health.

And I have a bunch of friends who have kids that, you know, are extremely violent and impossible to control, and it has nothing to do

with parenting. And it's a very horrible situation, no matter how much money you have, because I think

the Reiner's probably had, you know, somewhere in excess of a half a billion dollars. Rob

Castle Rock was responsible for Seinfeld. So all of his movies probably didn't make him as much money as he made just on Seinfeld.
