Unless the Lord leads me another direction, I believe I'll teach perhaps the whole week on by his stripes, we are healed.

Praise God. Do you think that's a worthwhile endeavor? By his stripes, we are healed.

We'll begin reading, and I want to read just one verse

and then we're going to go into some other things

but in Isaiah 53

we're going to begin at verse 1

Isaiah

53 1

he says who has believed our report?

And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?

Now, I think if we're not careful a lot of times, we'd just rush past some of these verses on our way to verse 3, 4, and 5.

We're going to stop right here on verse 1.

Now, this passage of Scripture is quoted in the New Testament at least two times that I know of.

I want you to turn to those places.

Let's take the time to look at them.

It's in John 12 and in Romans 10.

Let's look at these two places.

Hold your place there in Isaiah if you can.

Now, of course, I realize by that time you'll have three fingers in your Bible.
