I've just got to alert you to one of the ground rules,

which is that when there's a big political event overnight, like, I don't know, two by elections where

Labour overturn huge Tory majorities, we do a live episode of newscast on I-player at 7 o'clock.

And when we then put that out as the new as newscasts

podcast can we edit out the mistakes I made?

I mean I think no I've been jive. There were very small mistakes.

But otherwise the guests were great,

the story was enormous.

whole thing isn't it but a big story yeah a big story and as usual it's like

another chance to like read the tea leaves to see what it might mean for the general

election and as Chris always says about by elections the best thing is it's like actual real people making decisions about politics as opposed to people that you and me sat in these armchairs just talking about it.
