As a believer, my identity is not in that I was born in Mississippi. I'm a

southern gal. It's not the fact that I'm a woman. It's not even in the fact that I'm

an American. My identity is first and foremost in the fact that I'm an American. My identity is first and foremost in the fact that I am a child of God.

And what does God have to say? And I am commanded by God to be involved, to not just sit back. And then. This is Pastor George Pearson's welcome to the Believers voice of, a special series that we're doing called

Faith for our nation. We are preparing to vote. The vote is taking place in

less than one week. Early voting is still going on and we are responsible and I wanted to

read to you a word from the Lord that Brother Copeland had a few years ago about

voting and the Lord said this I will say it the Lord hold you responsible for voting for whom I tell you to vote.

And you can't get out of it by not voting.

I'll hold you responsible for voting for the wrong one if you do that. Father in the name

of Jesus we come before you today and thank you for this time. Lord there's an

awakening. There's an awakening taking place in our nation.

But it's not just an awakening to the things of the spirit.

It is an awakening to what is going on around us.

It is an awakening to things that are being revealed and uncovered and

and shown for their true selves. Father, you're showing us things, you're giving us

insights into how our government operates

and what we need to do to keep it on the track that you have it on.

Lord, we receive this time together in Jesus' name. on this
