Now let's join David Barton as he begins today's message.

We're told in Proverbs 1817 that one side sounds good until you hear the other.

Now this is the basis, this and John 8 is the basis of what we have in the Bill of Rights where you get to

confront your accuser. You see you get to hear both sides. If the prosecution is the only one

that was presented his case to the jury, we'd convict everybody. If the defense attorney was the only one that presented his case of the jury would convict everybody. If the defense attorney was the only one that presented

his case of the jury, we'd free everybody. So what happens is the jury has to hear the prosecution

and the defense and decide what the truth is, where the facts lie, and then make a decision on that.

See that's what the Bible tells us to do.

There's another great verse in this, Act 1711.

Act 1711 deals with the Apostle Paul.

He was actually on his second missionary journey, on that second missionary journey he said I love

The Thessalonians. They're great people. We got the book that Thessalonians but I love the

Brians more than I love the Thessalonians because now remember Paul was the most credentialed apostle in that day.

He had he had been trained with GMAil. He was the Jew of the Jew. He was a Pharisee, the Pharisees. He was the guy with all the PhDs after his name from Jewish Heritage

San point. He said by I love these Bereans. This is what he said about the

Brienne's. Those in Berea were more noble of those in Thessal Nica and that they received the word with all readiness of mind and searched the scriptures daily to see whether the things I told them were true.

These guys won't believe anything I say. They don't care how many credentials I get from the name.
