This is Professor Greg Stevens and he is a teacher in Kenneth Copeland Bible College and he's spent many years studying the first covenant and that first covenant began in the

15th chapter of Genesis with the blood of animals. So the principle was, I mean, sin to disobey God was a deadly thing.

Yeah, literally. Yeah, but now he he's no no no no no no no, no, don't kill the man

kill an animal. Sacrifice an animal that set up Jesus being the Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world.

That set that up right there in the 15th chapter of Genesis.

That's right.

Then in the 17th chapter of Genesis, God appeared to Abram and

entered covenant with him. And there you have the first recorded name change because of a covenant.

And there you have the first recorded name change

because of a covenant.

And people get married today and don't have any idea why they change the woman's name.

Well, it happened there on that day.

He went from being Abram or Abram to Abraham, that H, which I learned from you. I knew it was the name of Abraham, but I didn't know which one.

But it was Hashem. The name.

And from then on on and God said I will I have I have already I have made you the father of many nations.

I've done it.

I have made you the father of many nations.
