Now let's take a look here in Matthew's Gospel in Chapter 9. Now this account, we're going to read it in the book of Matthew, we're going to read it in the book of Mark, and also going to read it in the book of Mark. We're also going to read it in the book of

Luke because there's some things that we need to put our eyes on and put into our heart this morning from each of these accounts.

Matthew chapter 9, verse 1,

and he, Jesus, entered into a ship and passed over and came into his own city.

And behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy lying on a bed.

Jesus seeing their faith said under the sick of the palsy lying on a bed. Jesus seeing their faith said under the sick of the

palsy, son, be of good cheer. Thy sins be forgiven thee. More glory to God.

You know, every time I read that, I can just see Jesus.

Now, if you study this just a little bit,

you'll find out from the scripture that he was in his own house and he's

standing there he's been teaching and preaching the word and all of a sudden

somebody's tearing up his roof.
