So the news is out.

Hana and Noreen are officially retiring from the waves.

We've had a lot of great emails from listeners about how sad they are and we are also very sad.

But the show must and will go on.

And we're so excited to still have this great diversity of voices here on the waves.

June is staying with us, which we are so pleased about.

We've also heard from you guys about our segment

on the Women's World Cup.

I was actually kind of surprised by how many people wrote

in saying that the US women's national team was being bad sports by

celebrating their victory so enthusiastically against Thailand.

One person said that the celebrations had a real Merica fuck yeah vibe to them

that was antithetical to the Spirit of the World Cup. Another said it was a

Canadian listener she said you, my husband plays recreational hockey.
