We're talking real money.

If we were like a lot of folks in the financial media, we'd claim that we were really

brilliant after yesterday telling you that cryptocurrency was in trouble, because today, Friday, when I'm

recording this, well, cryptocurrency isn't behaving particularly well because China just decided

to make cryptocurrency illegal. And I have to say good for them, because finally, somebody's getting a little bit of sense somewhere in the world.

Surprising it has to be China.

But we're not going into a cryptocurrency episode again today, though.

No, no instead.

We're going to talk a little bit about the stock market, just a little, and then I'm going to take your questions.

The reason I'm going to talk about the stock market, oh, and by the way, hi, welcome to

The reason I'm going to talk about the stock market today is there was a great article in

the Washington Post by Michelle Singletary about our desire to try and buy stocks when they're down.

It's called buying the dips.

And the last opportunity you really had to buy, well, there was a little one last week,

early this week, but the last big opportunity you had to buy the dips was back in 2020, right after the pandemic, was obviously going to be a problem.

And a lot of people did.

Some, well, some people did.
