Summary

It’s tough business making preseason predictions. Revisit Bruce and Stew’s SEC Buy, Sell, Hold picks and look ahead to next season. The crew digs into what went wrong at LSU (and why they both missed it), Tennessee's identity crisis under Heupel, Alabama's frustrating (but technically better) season under DeBoer, and whether Vanderbilt can survive life after Diego Pavia. Plus, your questions on the SEC's fading physicality and how to define success at Ole Miss moving forward. Then, Bruce's conversation with Cooper Manning on Arch's growth, the media circus, and what surprised him most.

But first, some news and notes. Really, one note. And that is, guys, Gus Malzhan retired today.

1:09.5

He was Florida State's offensive coordinator for one year,

1:12.7

best known as Auburn's head coach for about 10 years. Arkansas State, some time at UCF,

1:20.6

won over 100 games. Pretty good coach was one of the godfathers of uptempo offense,

1:26.3

Stu. How will Gus Malzahn be remembered if this

1:30.3

is indeed his final college job? I mean, he'll be forever linked with the 2010 Auburn season.

1:38.1

Even though he was the offensive coordinator, not the head coach, I think sometimes people

1:42.6

forget that and assume he was the head coach, not

1:44.8

Gene Chiswick.

1:46.0

You know, he's forever tied with Cam Newton.

1:48.1

And you're right, at least in the early days, he was seen as like a real innovator
