Howdy! Let's go! Let's go! Hey, you guys, please forgive me. I caught a little something yesterday,

a little nasally, came down with something, spoke with the doctor today, assured me I'm not contagious,

all good, not COVID, had that at Christmas, but yeah, and when that first happened, like when it

jumped up on me, I don't know if you've ever felt this way, but I'm like, man, I do not have time to

get sick. You know, there's a busy, I got Breakway tomorrow, I got this speaking engagement

over the weekend, I got Sundays, got meetings, I do not have, it's a busy time, I do not have

time to get sick, and it's kind of the beginning of the year is a crazy season in ministry,

because you do a lot of planning, and on Mondays, I have my management meeting, so I show up on

Monday to go to that management meeting, and I choose a word at the beginning of every year

for myself, for my word this year, between you and I, as a secret, is encouragement, and so working

on, encouraging people, because great leaders are great encourages, and so I'm sitting in my

car as I'm about to walk into this meeting with the guys that I work with, and I'm just thinking,

I want to encourage them, I'm going through my mind, I'm thinking of each of them by name,

like here's the encouragement that I want to give to them, and this is what I'm going to say,

and this is what they do well, and then my mind drifts to all the things that I have to do,

gotta write this sermon, I've got to go to that meeting after this meeting, I need to pay

that bill, you know, I need to, oh, I need to read that chapter in the book that's due today,
