Boomer and Gio coming up at 6 o'clock. And so there goes the trade deadline. Yeah, that was

kind of underwhelming and boring, quite frankly. I think Howie Rose's daughter, Alyssa Rose, wrote on Twitter at one point, this might be the single most

boring trade deadline days ever, and not because things weren't happening. Things were happening.

You know, if you were the Dodgers, the Padres, or the Orioles, you were making things happen.

If you were the Mets or the Yankees, you didn't do a whole hell of a lot, but I don't necessarily know that the bad thing. I really don't.

You know, you can make the case certainly that the Mets could have used another bad,

another starting pitcher, 100%.
