Welcome back to Giants Talk.

Special one today coming from the press conference.

I talked to Greg Johnson and I talked to Buster Posey.

They are now not only both members of the ownership group, but Buster is obviously president of baseball operations.

This is his show now.

He was front and center on Tuesday and laid out part of his vision.

If you saw the press conference, I think you got a lot of that.

But also I talked to him afterwards and got to ask him some specifics about, you know, guys like Marco Luciano, Bryce Eldridge,

and how things are going to go moving forward.

Also talk to Greg Johnson about the decision to part ways with Farhan Zay

and make Buster the guy in charge and what that means for the Giants. So those interviews are coming

up. First, I did, you know, if you listen to the emergency podcast, you know that Cole was unavailable.

So we had to kind of take some time and digest all of this and go through all of it and give our thoughts.

So that is up before the interviews.

One bit of news since Cole and I talked, the Giants did confirm that Pete Patilla, their general

manager, is reassigned, is I guess the way to put it.

He will no longer be the GM Buster's going to look for someone who can take on that

role. And really, it's kind of more important than ever because I think we know Buster's going to
