So I guess it's not solo, but it is just mostly an interview with Buster, who has now been on the job for a couple months as presence of baseball operations and obviously he has made one of the

bigger deals in franchise history the biggest deal money wise in franchise history signing willie

damas to a seven year 182 million dollar contract willie is going to be introduced on thursday

at oracle park so there's a lot to talk about obviously right now with Buster, and that's coming up.

And wanted to kind of have that stand alone here because there's so much other stuff going on

that the Cole and I have to talk about later this week or early next week. Things happen

quickly in the off season, especially during winter meetings week. But first, I did want to

things here the last couple days at the winter meetings that we haven't talked about as much

here on Giants talk. Roki Sasaki is, you know, going to be the big deal after the decks

are cleared a little bit here. And guys are starting to go. Garrett Crochet was just traded a few

minutes ago as I record here. Giants obviously got their shorts up.

Max Fried signed for a huge, huge deal.

But Sasaki is going to be, I think, the talk of baseball in late December and especially

early in mid-January when he signs and becomes part of the 2025 class.

The Giants have for a long time, believed he's going to be a Dodger. Sasaki's agent,

Joel Wolfe, stood up on Tuesday in front of a bunch of reporters and explained all the reasons

why he might not be. You can take that with the grain of salt if you want. You could take that

as smoke, just trying to hide maybe that that they have a deal already, which is what a lot
