Here on the Monday edition of the yard. Yeah, it was a wet and wild weekend down in Red Stick, Louisiana.

We didn't get the result we wanted. Of course, we spoke after the Thursday game in an abbreviated Friday show.

You'll get the full 90 minutes today, maybe a few more.

We'll see.

You never know how I'm feeling.

But yeah, unhappy with the result.

I'm happy, unhappy with where we sit in the SEC standings.

Yes, we have played some difficult teams, but we should be a difficult team.

We are a big team, too.

We expect big things here in Star, I'm going to talk extensively about that before we get out of here today. And here's

the thing. I wrote about this yesterday, if you haven't read the story, the genuine article,

I'd encourage you to do so. A lot of my thoughts about the program, about the brand. And, you know,

here's one of the things that is an inconvenient truth for some. I suspect it's the same people

that in many respects, you know, sat against a wall, nurse and the butto light all night and

looking at girls and wonder why everybody come up to talk to

them but people seem to get their feelings hurt when I say we are at baseball school if you need

evidence of that just look at the way that people are upset these days and it's so interesting too

there are so many people that don't want you to have an opinion about baseball,

and they say we should de-emphasize baseball, but now that we are off to a difficult start in SEC play,

they want to have an opinion about baseball.

I don't think that there should be any validity granted to those opinions. You know what I'm saying?
