Families have something to be thankful for this week as their holiday feast will be cheaper.

So the price of wheat is just very low right now and that's translating to a decrease in dinner rolls, pie crust, and sucking. And then we also see a decrease in the cranberry price. The last year had like a very high cranberry price. And so this is more just a return to normal. Good news on the affordability front, as your Thanksgiving dinner will cost you less this year.

curious about this survey because this is the 40th year that the American Farm Bureau Federation

has put out this Thanksgiving dinner survey. What did you learn from this snapshot? This year, a classic

holiday meal for 10 people is about $55.18 or that's roughly $5.20 a person.

And this is 5% less than last year and is our third straight year of declines.

Okay. Now, talk to me about that because I'm reading in this survey that in 2020, there's a record high cost of over $64. So while you say that it's this year

about $55, that certainly is reprieve for families, it still feels really close to that

record high. What are you hearing from customers and clients about really this key idea

of affordability and, you know, just sort of how that's impacting people at home? Yeah, so we know that

food prices and inflation and the cost of living is something all Americans are consistently thinking
