But first, President Trump called on Intel CEO Lip Bhutan to resign Thursday, saying on Truth Social that the CEO of Intel is highly conflicted and must resign immediately. There is no other solution

to this problem. The president's demand comes after Senator Tom Cotton shared his concerns

with Intel's board about Tan's business ties and investments in China,

saying the Intel CEO even controls companies with links to the Chinese military.

So far, Intel is standing by the CEO.

Meanwhile, a new development for the Federal Reserve, President Trump will tap his economic advisor,

Stephen Muren, to serve on the Fed's

board. This, of course, coming after months of the president criticizing Fed chair Jerome Powell

for his lack of urgency on rate cuts. However, a recent lackluster jobs report has many investors

now anticipating a likely rate cut in September.
