Inflation will take the spotlight in a data-heavy week that could test the true strength

of this latest stock market rally.

With the July CPI numbers out this week, investors will be be looking to this data for clues about how the countries fight with inflation

will inform the markets this week.

Inflation is a lagging indicator.

So for us to see tariffs slapped onto goods and all of a sudden it just reflected in the data,

it's probably not going to work out that way.

Inflation is in focus this week with several key economic indicators coming out in the next several days

that will give investors more information about whether inflation is seizing towards the Fed's 2% target

or is showing signs of renewed pressure.
