This was him back in March using a nickname he's had for Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome

Powell.

But it makes it very hard for people to get mortgages because too late is too late. Since then, the president has continued to push but hasn't fired Powell,

though he is trying to fire Federal Reserve Board Governor Lisa Cook,

over allegations about mortgage fraud that she has not been formally charged with.
