Friday, June 7, 2024, the government's highly anticipated jobs report is out today

blowing expectations out of the water. But as jobs are added, American

households report, hundreds of thousands of jobs are vanishing.

What will the Fed do with this mixed view of the labor market?

I'm a big believer, watch the free markets, not the Fed at this juncture. They've been behind so many times

first on the inflation front and the problem going forward is the closer you get to the election

it's going to be tougher with them to make any move. The

American labor market swelled, blowing past expectations.

Friday's jobs report shows employers added

two hundred and seventy two thousand jobs in May.

But the same report also shows the unemployment rate edged up

to four percent, giving us a mixed view of the labor market. The Federal Open Market Committee meets next week

and will release its highly anticipated decision

on whether to finally cut interest rates.

With today's hot jobs report, expectation is that rates will remain unchanged.
