Two big economic stories today.

Jobs and tariffs, tariffs and jobs.

The problem is, is it's been up and down and on and off.

It's one of those things that, you know, in negotiation, that might work. But in reality, when you have an entire economy waiting on it, you're going to see some collateral damage.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics announcing a major disappointment in job creation for the month of June.

Just 73,000 jobs created in that month against expectations from Wall Street

of 110,000. Yet worse than that were the downward revisions for June and May. In fact, total

revisions for the two months, jobs down 258,000. The unemployment rate, however, remains steady at 4.2%. And, of course,

there's tariffs. President Trump signed executive orders Thursday evening imposing tariffs on

more than 60 different nations who had not yet reached a trade agreement with the U.S.

He delayed tariffs for some countries.

These moves, which White House officials say they expect, will expedite new deals with trade partners

who have so far failed to engage in negotiations.
