Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell will speak Friday at the annual Jackson Hole Symposium.

This is a huge event where investors and Fed watchers get to gain insight into the direction of the Fed. The big question, top of mind,

will there be a rate cut next month? The Jackson Hole is not meant to be, you know, a Fed press conference where he's going to lay it all out. It's a different theme, although people will be

listening to see just in case he gives any clue on kind of where he's thinking

about going. The Jackson Hole Economic Policy Symposium is the Central Bank's research conference

where Fed Chair Powell gives attendees a better idea of what the Fed's policy will look like

moving forward. Last year, Powell spoke about the importance of protecting the

cooling labor market with plans to lower interest rates. Now, on the heels of a mixed bag of

economic data, what Powell says at this conference will carry immense weight with investors.
