On the final day of the first quarter of 2025, the major market indices lost more ground on fears of President Trump's April 2nd tariff plans and broader questions about the direction of the U.S. economy.

And so you look across these different dimensions and indicators, and only one of them is really in the red. And so will things deteriorate from here? I think that the private sector

and businesses are adaptable enough that once we get through this little air pocket,

we'll probably see a decent, if not a rip-roar and recovery from here.

A volatile first quarter in the market saw major shifts from President Trump's inauguration

and his call for broad business deregulations,

on their tech stocks, and now the news that has dominated the past several weeks, trade and

tariff uncertainty. April 2nd will be the Trump administration's proclaimed Liberation Day,

where they will unveil reciprocal tariffs.

These will be import taxes that the U.S. will put into place to match other countries' tariffs

on the goods that they buy from us in America.

Which countries he will implement these taxes on remains to be revealed.
