Former executive vice president of Walt Disney World Resorts, the man who used to manage over 40,000

employees. Could you imagine what it would be like to manage a number of employees, whether where a comma

is involved, where it's 44, zero comma, zero, zero, zero, 40,000 employees. That is such a massive

responsibility. And then think about this. They at Disney World during the time that Lee

Cockerel managed Walt Disney World Resorts. It was the world's number one tourist attraction drawing over

one million guests per week. Could you imagine what it would be like to have a million customers a week.

And so during this interview with Lee, I get to ask him about the importance of checklist. I talked to him

about the two books that he believes every entrepreneur should read. He explains to me his system for

inspiring his team and offering great customer service. The necessity of waking up early, the

importance of getting better every day and how to keep your employees and teammates engaged.

Everything at Disney, the bathrooms are clean to certain way. Hamburgers are made a certain way.

French fries are cooked to certain way. And it's not a tribal knowledge. It's not a verbal

knowledge. It's not something that's all written down and documented into a series of checklists.

Talk to me about the importance of that. Well, you can't remember everything. If you want attention

to detail, you've got to list all the details and that you have to do those through a checklist.

And they've even proven that people who use checklist are much more successful. Hospitals are

lowering infection rates with checklist. Wash your hands, use the alcohol rub, rub down the room.

They're actually reducing stays in hospitals. Checklists, pilots with checklist, don't have crashes.

You can't. Can you imagine a pilot says, we can't find a checklist up here.

Pretty sure we have you. We got it boast of it, right? And then you hear them talking to each
