You can travel by plane, or the more environmentally friendly option would be to take a boat.

Well, what if I told you one entrepreneur wants to make navigating the

seas even more environmentally friendly? Enter Conrad Bergstrom. He's founder of Exshore,

a Swedish electric boat company, dubbed the Tesla of the Seas. These boats are light, fast,

and have a distinctively scandy minimalist design.

They're also super high tech. You can unlock the boat using an app on your smartwatch and start the

engine. It's even got a man overboard feature that automatically stops and turns the boat around

if you find yourself in the water.

And really, it's no wonder Bergstrom found at this company. He comes from a family of seafarers.

My grandpa is from a seaman's family and my grandma is from a fisherman's family. I love the sea.

The sea is like the most magic place for me.

You know, that's where I feel calm and that's where I feel I belong.

Conrad particularly loved getting out in the water in a motorboat. But he was always aware that they

emitted a lot of fumes and made a lot of noise, not very environmentally friendly.

I thought that this needs a better solution. So in 1996, I trademarked Exshore and I had this

dream, but the technology wasn't there. So it wasn't until 2012, 2013, I started to make the new concepts.
