Hello and welcome to Business Daily Meets. I'm Dougal Shaw. Today I'm in Hammersmith in West London

to meet one of the world's leading interior designers. I can visualize a room before it's even

I've come to a studio where her team is busy pouring over the latest design concepts and materials.

This is the nerve centre of her global design business.

Often with certain clients, I say to them, if you wanted your room to sound like a piece of

music, what would it be? And some people don't understand what I'm saying. And some people go,

oh, 100%. Say a little prayer by Burt Baccarat. I get that.

I get that. Kelly Hoppin finds design solutions for the homes of famous individuals like David and Victoria Beckham,

but she also works with big commercial clients like luxury yacht designers or airlines like British Airways.

However, she also believes successful interior design can be achieved on any budget. Everybody should have a fabulous

home and that doesn't mean to say you have to spend millions on it. It's about looking within

what you have, how you can move a room around, change a cushion from this room to another,

take the pictures down from the wall, rehang them somewhere else. I love doing that.

So we're in your design studios of your global business. Tell me what kind of things happen here?

Well, first of all, it is a proper working design studio. I think people think it's going to be very slick at like the houses that we design and homes we design.

But I love the kind of artisan feel of the studio, which is thousands of samples and people running

around designing. What happens here is we create dreams for people. That's the way I put it,

whether it's a private home, whether it's a private yacht, whether it's a hotel, whether it's a
