Clay, honored, humbled. I'm in the clouds. Thank you for having me on your show.

Hey, you are a super successful salesman. People that look you up are going to quickly find this out about you.

But tell us how, and where did you grow up? We're going to a small town, Clay.

About 3,800 people in Western Pennsylvania tucked away in the middle of a forest.

And that, that town became really a metaphor for life for a number of people who really lived under literally very, very short, small ceilings.

And their aspirations and dreams were about as big as the ceilings.

If you got out, and when they got out, they found that the other side, outside of those forests, was where promise and potential met.

And so for us growing up in that small town, there had a lot, was a lot of great things that happened in terms of values that were inculcated in us, you know, building hay, having horses, learning how to fish.

Almost like a Mark Twain existence.

Not this time of year, I'd be out there with a shovel. You know, it is almost almost a year or ground right of passage.

And that's where I grew up, small town, Western PA, in veteran Pittsburgh Steelerspan, until death to us part.

How many people lived in the town that you grew up in?

So now, my understanding is that before becoming a super successful salesperson, you have described yourself as being once crippled with fear.

What do you mean by that?

Well, you know, I think it's incumbent clay upon each of us to look inside and really find the epicenter of our own fear.
