and i wanted to talk about something really really important today um just kidding i have nothing to

talk about you said you had a question for me yeah i wanted to ask you because you've done so many

businesses now and we've involved in a lot of businesses you know we started with jk we have

our vlog channel and we have uh barbell brigade like the whole actual clothing line the gym

the supplements all that and we're involved in a bunch of food brands like june b shrimp daddy

and all that stuff and one of the most common questions that i always get from doing other people's

podcasts and even just like interviews all around is um what is something that you've learned almost

10 years later now that you wish someone would have told you about business before oh man oh

oh the first one is the biggest one that i'm like duh what's your exit plan that's crazy right no one

no one tells you that no one thinks about it no one thinks about it and i think that's like the

most important biggest thing right because that's gonna determine how long you want to do a thing

that's gonna determine how you plan the rest of your life that's gonna determine whatever milestones

you're trying to set for yourself it's on the flip side on the flip side though um now that i

understand that um do you believe in prenups then we want prenups because that's literally

the exit plan for a marriage and a business is literally a marriage well i feel like

so for me personally i'm taking this question as me personally yeah i don't want to be in a

relationship where i feel like i need to prenup but don't people start a business not wanting to exit

and i think that's why most people don't have the exit strategy or exit plan the minute they start

the business well okay and also by exit i don't mean necessarily a literal exit i just mean

where is the point where you either scale up or you decide i'm gonna leave it or i'm gonna

push harder or like what's that like there's gotta be like markers that you have to set um
