From ABC News, this is Start Here. I'm Brad Milkey. When the Gaza ceasefire was announced in January, the entire world breathed a sigh of relief,

nowhere more so perhaps than in Gaza itself, where at this point tens of thousands have died

and more than 90% of the population has been left

homeless. Under phase one of this deal, they would get 42 days of respite. That hinged, of course,

on several conditions. Chief among them for Israelis was that Hamas returned the hostages
