0:37.0	Well, the virus was starting to spread across the US and I started to make lots of calls to people
0:43.2	to see what was going on, friends, family members, some old sources of mine.
0:48.4	And one of the people that I chatted with was a professor at Hariford College named Anita Isaacs.
0:55.1	Anita, how are you doing?
0:57.2	Hi, Nick. I'm okay. How are you?
0:59.6	And she started telling me about how strange it was to be a professor right now.
1:05.0	What were you right now? I've been asking this to everybody.
1:08.2	I'm locked down in Bethesda, Maryland, miles and miles away from my place of work,
1:14.2	from my books and from my students.
1:19.6	So Anita is an old source of mine. I've known her for more than 10 years.
1:24.0	We met each other when I worked as a foreign correspondent in Mexico at the Wall Street Journal.
1:29.0	If I remember right, you were a young reporter that was very curious about Guatemala.
1:36.0	She's a political scientist. She covers Central America. She covers Mexico.
1:40.4	And all of our conversations always had to do with those two things. But when she would talk,
1:45.6	she'd tell me a little bit about what it was like working at Hariford,
1:49.4	so liberal arts college, just outside of Philadelphia, 1200 students very elite college.
1:55.6	The tuition is about $76,000 when you add up room and board.
