Rebellion in the desert, orgies in the desert, complaining against God in the desert, false spirituality in the desert, idol worship in the desert.

Am I talking about the Old Testament Israel or am I talking about modern day burning man?

Well, the truth is I'm talking about both.

The book of ecclesiasty says there's nothing new under the sun.

And so bringing it up to modern day every year, we have 80,000 people that pack up their cars, their tents,

their costumes, their drugs, their wildest ideas, their deepest desires, their art, their desperate need for fun and healing and escape from monotony and whatever else. Right. And so then they

drive out into the middle

of the Nevada desert with all of these things, of course, because that's the only reasonable

explanation when one is in need of an emotional release, of course. And once they are there,

all of these people, these tens of thousands of people, they build a city from scratch. So the city only lasts for a

week. And you may have heard of this whole shindig as Burning Man, which is what we're going to be

talking about today, of course. So many of you have asked me to cover this. I thought it was well-due

time, especially given the circumstances of what we have seen gone on this year, which I'm going to

get into in a little bit.

Now, let me say that the people who go, if you ask them what it's like, they will tell you that it is unlike anything else in the world.

And to be fair, they're probably right about that.

Okay.

According to the burners, which is what they call themselves, all over TikTok, Burning Man is where you will

face your, quote, deepest desires, your deepest fears, your highest highs, your lowest lows,

and you will grow into your best self because of it. Okay, it's where you can allegedly be

whoever you want to be and do whatever

you want to do and manifest anything that you can imagine. So basically it's marketed as freedom.
