Lately I've been thinking a lot about the corpse of Jeremy Bentham. Jeremy Bentham was a British philosopher born in the 18th century, died in the 19th.

He founded a school of thought we call utilitarianism. He advocated for things like the separation of church and state, individual legal rights, and freedom of expression.
