I was having a conversation with my good friend Chad Coleman

Some have called him a saint. He's a big-time social media god at Callaway golf

Great dude great company Callaway by the way and he was telling me Chad was how he skips the first

Five and a half minutes or so of every single podcast episode of of RBP

I was like that makes sense. I mean the intro is the same every time

It's really for the new listeners really more than the returning ones, right?

But then I thought to myself was there something I can do

To make this show a little more enjoyable

for you know

long returning listeners right off the bat and

Fortunately, I'm married to a person that is smarter than I am and my genius wife Taylor immediately came up with an answer

She said I want you to just give a personal story or anecdote about yourself to start each show

So everyone is motivated not to just skip straight through the intro segment. It's genius

So easy so simple could have solved this months ago if I just asked her

For the record for those of you who are normally skippers part of clan skip the intro

There are important announcements and shoutouts and shit in every single intro and

I'm gonna moving forward be including more entertaining stuff like this

We won't be doing cold opens every episode obviously, but I will be sharing a personal anecdote every beginning of every episode

I will make sure that the announcements and shit are

Not so repetitive. I'm gonna try to make it a little more entertaining for y'all so that that's not just the same mundane
