0:39.8	goat girl plus we'll review the new album, Voyage from Abba. I'm Jim De Regadis.
0:47.0	And I'm Greg Kot. We'll also share a new batch of buried treasures, great music flying under the radar. But before we get further into the show,
0:55.6	we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the tragedy that occurred at Travis Scott's
0:59.6	Astro World Festival in Houston, Texas on Friday, November 5th.
1:04.8	As of this taping on November 9th, Greg, eight people have died and hundreds more were
1:10.5	injured when the crowd of 50,000 people got out of control during Scott's
1:15.0	performance. One of the victims was just 14 years old and a 10-year-old is
1:20.0	currently in an induced coma trying to recover from his injuries.
1:24.0	You know, as horrific as this incident is, it's sadly not the first music festival to go terribly awry.
1:30.0	It was just this past summer that we did a show on the preventable tragedy of Woodstock 99 and some of the lessons the music industry still has not learned when it comes to crowd safety.
1:41.0	We also had a show in May about venue accessibility, Greg, which may have
1:45.9	prevented some of this overcrowding. We're going to keep covering the topic of concert safety,
1:51.5	security, and responsibility because it's crucial to our
1:55.6	enjoyment and celebration of music. We'll have more on this on the show soon so
