It's an early summer day in South Wales, United Kingdom.

Two buddies, Layton Davies and George Powell, are taking a drive.

They speed past the small streets of the town they call home into the lush green valleys

of the British countryside.

Powell, a 38-year-old warehouse worker, and Davies, who's a little bit older than his

friend and a school custodian, are heading to a hamlet in Haredfordshire, accounting in

West England.

But they aren't just out driving for the hell of it.

They're traveling all that way to walk around in a field.

That's because Davies and Powell are detectries.

What are they detecting?

You might ask.

Yep, detectries are the people who walk along the beach or, in this case, a grassy

field with that long contraption metal detecting thing looking for, well, whatever it is they

can find.

Now there are certain rules when it comes to detecting.

First and foremost, you've got to get permission from the person whose land you're detecting

on.

I suppose that makes sense.

And while Davies and Powell had permission to scan this property, once they got going,
