The voting was over, the results too close to call. All eyes turned to Florida for the recount.

It was at the time an election battle for the ages, Bush vs. Gore, an epic clash that involved

Florida courthouses, and ultimately the US Supreme Court itself, all to determine who would be the next president of the United States.
