Summary

"They tried to bury the truth along with him. But some seeds refuse to stay buried." After the death of Soleiman Faqiri, his family was left with unimaginable grief and unanswered questions. But instead of letting his injustice be buried, his family turned their grief into a relentless pursuit of justice. They chose to fight for truth, for justice, and for the dignity every human deserves. In this episode, we explore how faith in Allah, patience in the face of injustice, and love for family can turn sorrow into something powerful. Because even when seeds are buried deep beneath the soil, Allah can still make them bloom. ______ Call to Action: The Faqiri family is calling on the Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, to issue a formal apology for the beating death of Soleiman Faqiri at the hands of correctional officers. To date, the Ontario government has refused to apologize to the Faqiri family. We encourage members of the public to email the Premier at doug.ford@pc.ola.org and urge the Ontario government to issue an official apology for Soleiman Faqiri’s death.
