Scary stories get used as cautionary tales often.

It's part of our history as humans, but today we'll hear one of them, a true story about

someone who used tools, supernatural ones, for bad reasons.

My name is Edwin, and here is Lillis, true, scary story.

Hey everyone, my name is Lillis.

I live in California in a small little town called Petaluma, born and raised on a milk dairy

ranch, 500 acres.

Some of the most beautiful memories I have growing up is there waking up feeding the cows

to horses, just a beautiful place.

It wasn't until about 5th grade when one of the workers got fired and my dad was looking

for another foreman to help tend the cows.

The house next door to us was a big two story house for a bedroom, I believe.

And this family moved in, and I was super excited because they had kids around my age for

the first time.

I didn't have to play alone.

Everything was fine.

We played together.

Like our families became friends with their family, and I didn't know at the time that

my dad was having an affair with the lady next door.

My mom was learning how to drive, she came to pick me up from my elementary school, which

was about two blocks away, not far at all.

I remember us leaving school, and it was a really big uphill with houses all around.
