Hello and welcome to Friday, everyone. You've earned it and we're going to deliver it.

I'm not sure that we're going to deliver the sort of show that we normally do because

I've been having a hell of a time getting Bret invested in me today. So we're going

to see if politics is enough. I got some awesome stuff though. We're going to be talking

about Greta Tunberg, her testimony before Congress. We've got a guy who makes the cops

look reasonable and not bloodthirsty by comparison. We've got a little bit more on DC statehood,

which is very exciting obviously. And of course, we've got a can and a task to fill it.

And I think that we've got some great garbage. I have some theories about what Bret's garbage

person might be. No idea what the audience has chosen but very excited to find out.

I'm just really excited that I haven't really looked at myself today and now that I see

whatever's happening on this side of my face, I am glad that I put no time into this.

I'm glad for the natural beauty that exists because we're all naturally beautiful.

We are. I've lumped it back, but I still have this weird patch of hair that grows further

down than the other patch of hair. Look, it's really context. So if this is you waking

up, having a start to your morning and getting ready, then yeah, you failed. But if this

is you like literally falling asleep with your face and your keyboard, I think you're

doing a pretty good job.

He's been up for hours, ladies and gentlemen. And he's still just like I should have taken

the time to do this.
